Harmful Logic: “Kitsune Mask (狐のマスク)”

Perhaps one of my favorite tracks on Harmful Logic’s Lies and Distrust EP, ”Kitsune Mask (狐のマスク)” offers a mix of downtempo electronic percussion with some darker and harsh sounds.

Harmful Logic is able to effortlessly create this haunting and gloomy atmosphere where these rough-edged synthesizers are free to roam. Floating on top of a simplistic but driving percussion track, these sounds echo, fade in and fade out to bring out a central theme of darkness. 

“Kitsune Mask (狐のマスク)” is a blend of some simple sounds at its core, but creates something much bigger than that when they’re all combined.
